Please Welcome Our Newest CKI Board Member David Dawson

Published April 5, 2017 by Covenant Keepers, Inc. in

David Dawson has been a member of the Bellevue, Washington, Covenant Keepers group for many years and has attended numerous CKI conferences and retreats. He had a long career working first in retail grocery and then after graduating from tech school, repairing computing equipment for several different companies eventually retiring from the Boeing Company in 2006.

David is a member of a Baptist community church where he’s been on the stewardship committee and served as an usher. He is a lifetime member of the Good Sam (RV) Club and enjoys camping and traveling in a trailer with a chapter of 15-20 people. He’s served as Secretary and Treasurer for this chapter. He set up and operated a sound system for the Washington state Good Sam organization and was the coordinator for donations to the Dogs for the Deaf charity.

In retirement he enjoys taking care of his home and yard as well as keeping up with his two daughters, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He also keeps busy doing technical support for regional CKI retreats, the annual CKI conferences and the CKI ooVoo group he has attended for years. He freely shares that with the Lord’s help he is standing for covenant marriage…and always will.

We at CKI have enjoyed knowing David over these years, seeing his servant’s heart in action as he works behind the “technical” scenes with great expertise, doing whatever needs to be done. Be sure to look for him at our annual CKI Conference in Charlotte in July. He’ll be the one behind the camera or on the soundboard, doing what he does so well. Thank you, David! And welcome to the Board!
